I have enjoyed exercising for about 15 years now. I have tried many different types of workout programs and techniques over the years, and my routine has developed and evolved over time, especially as my goals have developed and evolved. A good friend of mine, who is a senior citizen, made a comment to me that makes a lot of since, he said, "When you are young you work out to look good, when you are middle age you work out to feel good, and when you get my age you work out to survive."FITNESS FOR BUSY PEOPLE  - HEALTH AND FITNESS FOR BUSY PEOPLE As I get older I am able to verify that!



I used to spend a lot of time in the gym lifting weights and doing cardio. I have always had a passion for working out, and still do, but as years have gone by and as my schedule has required adjustments to be made, I have had to adapt my workouts to be balanced along with my family and my job. And over the last few years I have found ways to get very good workouts in a short amount of time with very little money involved. I plan to share some things that can help you to achieve your health and fitness goals!



Not everyone has 2 hours a day to spend in the gym, and not everyone can afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a home workout gym. There are some things that you can do that can allow you to reach fitness goals by spending just a little money on stretch bands and using the things around you and in your home to work muscles the same way that you would on the expensive machines in the gym. I am sure it sounds a little MacGyverish, but it does work!

Regardless of what level you are, beginner, moderate, or advanced, you can gain great benefits from stretch bands. They are cheap and easy to find, and there are so many ways to use them, and every major muscle group can be worked hard by them. I have lifted weights for years, and if someone would have told me that stretch bands were in my future I would have just laughed. But like a wise man once said, "Never laugh at what you don't know." While stretch bands can be used by everybody at any level, this next tip is not as practical for beginners, but it can be very handy and ingenious for those who are at a moderate or advanced level of physical fitness. This is the section that will allow you to use the things around you and in your home to work those muscles that you might think you could only work in a gym. Even a playground can provide you with the essentials. I have got my workout many times while my son has played on a school playground. In 15-20 minutes I have wrapped up my workout and kept a close eye on my son and then had plenty time to play with him. How convenient is that! Click HERE to view the exercises.
