Stretch Band ExercisesThis is a featured page

Below are some exercises that I use with stretch bands, but there are more things that can be done with them. Click HERE for tips on using stretch bands.

Chest Press

This can be done also with a bar, just slide the handles over the bar and put your hands between the handles and press out.

Incline Chest Press

This is just like the regular chest press but you press at an incline, which targets the upper part of your chest.

Push-ups with bands

These are a good way to strenghen your chest.

Seated Shoulder Press

Seated Shoulder Press (Elastic band) Shoulders Exercise

You only need to lower your hands about chin level, and lower is hard on your joints.

Upright Rows

These can be done also with both feet on the band. This is an excellent shoulder exercise!

Side Raises

Side Raises (Elastic Band) Shoulders Exercise

Just focus on slow controlled motions.

Front Shoulder Raise

Elastic Band Front Raises Shoulder Exercise

Just keep a slight bend in you elbows. This isolates you front deltoid.

Rear Deltoid Fly

This is an excellent exercise for the back of your shoulders!

Seated Back Row

When you do these always focus on bringing the elbows back, like pulling with your elbows, and this will isolate your back muscles.

Standing Back Row

Just like the seated Back Row above, you concentrate on the elbows coming back. Just make sure that whatever you put the band around will support the resistance or you may get your teeth knocked out!

Tricep Extension

Always keep the elbows locked in one place while pressing down, and always lock your elbows straight out at the end of the contraction.
